How it works?
Pricing
On receiving customer's specifications, we will prepare an estimate
for the job. If the job involves various independent stages, then
the first stage will be quoted with an estimate of the other stages.
Delivery
This will depend on the complexity of the project and will
be indicated in our Quote.
Quality
Normally, our designs will be tested before delivery by
using a prototype. Any bugs or errors which might be noticed or
reported later, will be promptly worked upon and corrected.
Ownership
Depending on the scope of delivery, we classify our projects
into three types:
- Intellectual-Property (IP) transfer:
In this case the ownership of the hardware and the software design
are transferred to the customer on payment. The delivery will
include complete schematics, bill of materials, assembly
instructions, PCB layout designs, and source codes relevant to the
project.
- Manufacturing-assistance:
In this case, ownership of the hardware design and the source codes
remains with us. The delivery will include complete schematics, bill
of materials, assembly instructions, and PCB layout designs but not
the source codes relevant to the project. The binary/hex image files
of the software will be provided to the customer.
- Manufacture-only: In this
case, a prototype will be designed and built according to the
customer's specifications. Once approved, we will enter into an
agreement with the customer to supply a specific quantity of the
designed product.
Confidentiality
If you desire so, we can enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
which will contractually limit the disclosure of any information that
you provide us. However, product design protection should be obtained
through copyright, registered design, patent and trademark. We will
assist you by copy-proofing the microcontroller firmware.
Dependability
We will provide support throughout the life of the product. If any
upgrade has to be done on an existing design even after many years, we
will gladly take up that work.
